IOP Masters Level Intern

Department: 79 - Clinical
Location: Bountiful, UT

Summary

Our IOP Master’s level internship aims to assist in developing competent and ethical entry-level clinicians who are confident in their ability to provide quality, specialized treatment to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing obsessive-compulsive, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. This internship is based within The OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) where interns will obtain professional/clinical development related to individual and family psychotherapy, crisis management, various forms of group facilitation, and documentation. Interns will develop their practical understanding of evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy-prolonged exposure (DBT-PE), and crisis response planning. Interns may also have the opportunity to create a community and/or an organizational project working with our marketing, outreach, quality and assurance, or office management teams.

*A stipend is offered for most internships at The OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center. Specific details will be discussed in the internship interview.*
